Description
The JPP-JB series of termination junction boxes offer a solution to connect either 4, 6 or 8 load cells in parallel to a suitable display or amplifier.
There are no adjustment facilities with this product, and it is only usually recommended for use with load cells with matched or rationalised outputs. It acts as an installation aid in a variety of weighing applications.
LCM Systems can provide the JPP-JB on its own or complete with matched/rationalised load cells and complimentary instrumentation to offer a complete package. Please contact our technical department for any advice required on suitable solutions.

DSJ4 Four Channel DSC Docking Station

Description
The function of the DSJ4 junction box is to enable the easy connection of up to 4 load cells and 4 DSC cards to a multi-dropped digital communications bus. Designed to take up to four DSC cards in a single enclosure, the DSJ4 offers a convenient and practical solution to the installation of digital load cells within platforms, silos and other weighing systems where connection to PC and PLC’s is required.
Up to 32 DSJ4s can be connected to 1 digital bus. Supplied as an OEM device on a single 164 x 100mm PCB, it has options for fitting in an IP65 ABS case, or to a DIN rail fixture.
The communications output connection is RS485, ASCII, Modbus or MantraCAN (J1939). Please note that RS232 is NOT available with this unit (refer to DSJ1).
Please note that the DSJ4 is a printed circuit board complete with the connectors but DOES NOT include the DSC digitiser modules. Therefore, when selecting the product, be sure to also select the appropriate type and quantity of DSC modules.

DSJ1 Single Channel DSC Docking Station

Description
The DSJ1 is designed for use with strain gauge sensors and offers high speed and high precision signal conditioning digitising capabilities. Available output formats include RS232, RS485 ASCII, Modbus, & MantraCAN J1939.
The function of the DSJ1 is to enable the easy connection of a load cell and a DSC card for communications to a PC or PLC. Designed to take one DSC card in a single enclosure, the DSJ1 offers a convenient and practical solution to the installation of digital load cells within platforms, silos and other weighing systems where connection to PC and PLC’s is required.
Supplied as an OEM device on a single 135 x 73mm PCB, it has options for fitting in an IP65 ABS case, or to a DIN rail fixture. When a DSC card is fitted to the DSJ1 PCB it will enable the connection of a load cell via a two-part connector, with a five-way two-part connector for the communications output or D type 9 pin connector, as well as connections for digital inputs and outputs and external temperature sensor.
For more than one input channel, model DSJ4 (see seperate data sheet) provides the ability to connect up to four model DSC's to a common communications bus. Several DSJ1's or DSJ4's can be connected to the same bus for distributed applications (except when using RS232).

CDIT-3-WMOUNT Weighing Assembly

Description
The CDIT-3-WMOUNT is a complete weighing assembly for use with the CDIT-2 and CDIT-3 range of load cells (see separate data sheet). The weighing assembly facilitates easy mounting for the engineer on site, and incorporates a number of key features that allows the best installed accuracy to be achieved. These include an anti-lift off mechanism, compensation for thermal expansion and for off-axis loading.
Manufactured from stainless steel, the CDIT-3-WMOUNT is available in three sizes (assembly instructions are shown on the reverse of this data sheet). The unit is equipped with self load alignment to mitigate against positioning errors and deformation of structures.
