BBL-1-WMOUNT Weighing Assembly

Description

The BBL-1-WMOUNT support is designed to prevent unwanted forces from vessel thermal expansion from affecting the performance of our BBL-1 load cell. The weighing module is compact and cost effective, especially for load cells in hopper and tank weighing applications, and facilitates easy mounting for the engineer on site.

It also incorporates a number of key features that allows the best installed accuracy to be achieved, with a display resolution down to 100g being possible. The unit features an integrated check link to eliminate oscillations caused by slow moving agitators etc, and all modules within a scale are identical and can be freely orientated in any direction. Load cell replacements require minimum lifting height via the integrated jacking device. There is also a safety feature included to prevent the vessel being lifted on the load cell and overload stops to protect the load cell.

If delivered with a load cell, the weigh module will be shipped completely pre-assembled ready for installation by welding or bolting. This assembly along with any required instrumentation (display, amplifier etc.), can be supplied to form a complete weighing system solution.

T24-ACM-SAf High Speed Single Channel Wireless Docking Module

Description

The T24-ACM-SAf is a single channel connectivity module for high speed applications, offering high precision measurement of a single input. It provides measurements at 2000 samples per second, and provides 5V excitation to drive transducer loads down to 85ohms. The T24-ACM-SAf will usually be used in conjunction with an analogue output module or for supplying data to a computer via a base station.

Usable around the globe on the licence-free 2.4GHz frequency, the T24 range avoids local radio interference to ensure data integrity and security. The system provides exceptional performance in the field by ‘powering down’ between transmissions or ‘powering off’ completely.

Featuring a compartment for a pair of alkaline ‘D’ cells, the T24-ACM-SAf also has a regulator circuitry for an external power supply. The batteries can also be used to provide power in case of external supply failure. For easy wireless sensing, the unit provides connections via the 2 part screw terminals and environmental sealing to IP67.

The T24-ACM-SAf high accuracy, low noise measurement electronics deliver high resolution, low drift results which can be user calibrated over 9 points to enable linearization and to deliver results in user definable engineering units. 

The wireless sensor transmitter is configured and calibrated (either by applying known inputs or by table entry) using free T24 Toolkit software which runs on a PC connected to a T24 base station. 

The T24 offers a wireless range of up to 800 m (2,600 ft) in open field site.

LCD20 Intelligent Strain Gauge Load Cell Amplifier

Description

The LCD20 intelligent strain gauge bridge amplifier is a compact, stackable microprocessor based unit specifically designed to control and monitor process applications. It offers flexible connection to most load cells, pressure or strain gauges over a wide range of sensitivities.The unit provides isolated current 4-20mA and voltage 0-10V analogue outputs and two digital inputs.

Two set point relays can be configured to set thresholds such as net, gross, peak and valley. Powered from a wide ranging DC supply, the DIN rail amplifier is supplied with 2 part screw connectors for ease of installation.

The LCD20 will support 6 wire input to compensate for barrier and cable losses. It is factory calibrated to mV/V and allows 10 point user calibration to the desired engineering units. Configuration options are achieved via a handheld programmer or PC Toolkit software.

The analogue outputs and relays interface to existing acquisition and control systems, making this unit an ideal partner for any integrated instrumentation system.

T24-HS-LS Wireless Simple Handheld Display

Description

The T24-HS-LS handheld battery powered wireless display is used as the display in several of our wireless load cell products, including the TELSHACK-B wireless load shackle and RILL wireless load link.

The T24-HS-LS is a display that is very simple to operate, with just three buttons; one to power the product on/off, the second to allow viewing of the gross/net weight and the third to enable the user to chose between viewing the load in tonnes and lbs (other units available on request). It is used to connect to a single acquisition unit (T24-SA). For multiple unit applications, please refer to the T24-HA datasheet.

The licence-free 2.4GHz radio signal provides a line-of-sight communication range of 600 metres (1970 feet), extendable by the use of a repeater (T24-AR). The use of the latest DSSS radio technology minimises local radio interference and ensures data integrity and security,
and the wide operating temperature range and the robust technology ensures that the T24-HS-LS it is not susceptible to harsh physical or electrical environments.

LCM Systems can supply the T-24 products integrated into various sensors to form a wireless sensor system. There are several standard products which utilise the T24 range, including the TELSHACK range and RILL ranges.
