SBL-3 Stainless Steel Shear Beam Load Cell

Datasheet

Description

The SBL-3 series of shear beam load cells are available in a wide range of capacities from 200lb (91kg) through to 5000lb (2268kg). They are manufactured entirely from stainless steel and offer environmental sealing to IP67. The high bridge resistance of this model provides extended battery life for portable or battery powered installations. The SBL-3 can be supplied complete with a vessel/tank weighing assembly, which is designed to make installation easier and to provide a means of realising the best accuracy from the product when installed, by eliminating the effects for vessel/tank thermal expansion. More details on the assembly are available on a separate datasheet (SBL-WMOUNT).

There are two versions available; one with a threaded end load attachment hole, the other version has a blind hole. The blind hole version is ideal for floor scale applications, where a foot can be attached for simple scale design. This version is also used when the vessel weighing assembly is used. The threaded version is ideal for hanging vessels and hoppers.

CPW Wireless Stainless Steel Compression Load Cell

Datasheet

Description

The LCM range of wireless compression load cells are designed for general use and are suitable for use in laboratories or in permanent outdoor installations. They are built to exacting standards and there are many special options, including integral carry handles, load cap and mounting base. The standard product is constructed from stainless steel.

The unique wireless housing is manufactured from semi-aromatic polyamide plastic making the load cell far more compact and reducing the overall product weight. Located in the housing are two AAA alkaline batteries which can be easily accessed by removing the telemetry housing cover, while the internal electronics underneath remain completely sealed. The antenna is also internally mounted, protecting it from accidental damage during use and handling. The batteries are standard AAA alkaline batteries, which are readily available and low cost.

The CPW is supplied as standard without any additional wireless devices to enable greater flexibility with the configuration and ordering of the product. The CPW can be used with any of the T24 range of wireless instrumentation, whether this be for a simple display system using the T24-HS-LS, or more complex systems using multiple load cells and multiple wireless devices.

For more sophisticated systems, including datalogging or monitoring/reporting requirements, we are able to offer a robust tablet PC with installed software for use with single or multiple load cell installations. Our sales team will be happy to discuss the best wireless system configuration to suit your requirements.

The CPW series can be provided as shown in this datasheet or can be modified to meet a particular application requirement. We are always pleased to discuss any special requirements that can be accommodated.

TELSHACK-B-HL Wireless Bow Type Heavy Lift Load Shackle

Datasheet

Description

The TELSHACK-B-HL range of telemetry load shackles are manufactured using the GN Rope H10 shackle. Suitable for use in a wide range of industrial and marine heavy lift weighing applications, these load shackles provide a robust and effective method of measuring large tensile loads. They are also particularly suited to offshore applications, as they include 3.1 material certification as standard and the proof load test and calibration can be witnessed by a 3rd party at LCM Systems.

The unique telemetry housing is manufactured from tough high performance polyamide resin making it strong yet light, resulting in a better balanced load shackle when compared to others available on the market. Two clips enable you to open the housing to access and change the two AAA alkaline batteries, while the internal electronics underneath remain completely sealed. This includes the antenna to ensure maximum protection from damage. The built in radio telemetry electronics operates on the 2.4GHz license free frequency.

The TELSHACK-B-HL is supplied as standard without any additional wireless devices to enable greater flexibility with the configuration and ordering of the product. The TELSHACK-B-HL can be used with any of the T24 range of wireless instrumentation, whether this be for a simple display system using the T24-HS-LS, or more complex systems using multiple load cells and multiple wireless devices.

For more sophisticated systems, including datalogging or monitoring/reporting requirements, we are able to offer a robust tablet PC with installed software for use with single or multiple load cell installations. Our sales team will be happy to discuss the best wireless system configuration to suit your requirements.

Software

T24LOG100 has been designed to allow the logging and visualisation of up to 100 channels of data from the T24 Wireless Telemetry range of sensor transmitters.

A resizable window displays a table of up to 100 channels of data. Channels can be setup with user defined algorithms that can be used to calculate a multitude of maths functions. For example, a display can show the value from a single T24 transmitter module or the sum of multiple transmitters. Visual displays and audible alarms can indicate under and over range as well as loss in communications, low battery and error reports.

Once the display channels are defined the user can quickly build graphical pages showing the data in a variety of formats including digital display or bars. Up to eight pages can be defined and the pages easily navigated between. A variety of image formats can be imported, including JPG, GIF, PDF and DXF.

T24LOG100 can log on demand, at pre-set intervals, on entering and leaving a pre-set overload and during an overload. It creates a CSV file which can be loaded for analysis into software programs such as Microsoft Excel. JSON format data is also available on demand via the built in web server.

Solution for unpredictable load distribution

Safety for the performers and spectators are very important when considering the design of the truss set up. With tons of sound and lighting equipment hanging from the above, the need for even distribution of load is very important. The monitoring needs to have fast response due to the continuous movements of these audio visual (A/V) equipment.

There are situations whereby, due to the continuous movement of the A/V equipment, there would be uneven load distribution on one of the hoist and may reach its’ overload limit. Conditions may even worsen especially during outdoor set ups which are exposed to wind and snow build up on the roof. These conditions would greatly reduce the overload tolerance of the whole truss set up.

The solution is to identify the load distribution and ensuring safe installations during real-time performances.
