Micro Alignment Telescopes with built in optical micrometersThe micro alignment telescope allows the user to set reference lines of sight for applications such as the alignment and measurement of bearings and bores. By use of two precision micrometers X,Y displacement can be measured with accuracies of 0.05 mm over 30 metres from a reference line of sight. Taylor Hobson's range of precision targets and accessories further enhance this range making them truly versatile for a large number of applications. These instruments provide precision while maintaining the robustness required for the most exacting of environments. Parameters include alignment, parallelism, squareness, level/flatness and straightness for applications from alignment of propellor shaft bearings to aircraft frame alignment, features include; Mechanical to optical concentricity to less than 6 um Parallelism of optical line of sight to mechanical axis less than 3 arc secs Typical accuracy 5-10um over 3m X,Y precision micrometers with 0.02 mm resolution Wide range of accessories to assist in alignment and measurement |
Digital Alignment TelescopeA high resolution CCD system with software automatically senses the centre position of the dedicated CCD targets then calculates of displacement from a set datum to ensure a fast set up time with repeatable readings, as well as digitally outputting the result. This is particularly useful on large alignment projects such as aircraft jigs or large machine tools since a single operator can make measurements and adjustments along the construction or fixture while the target is displayed on the monitor. Clear digital output of X and Y minimises operator error Graphical output for reporting & storage of results Repeatability of measurement provided by CCD Rapid calculation of results for quick and easy assessment Ideal for automatic remote monitoring with datalogging Typical accuracies: 5µm over 3m (decreasing with distance) |
Alignment telescopes without micrometersSimilar to the micro Alignment Telescope without the X and Y micometers, the alignment telescope allows the user to set true lines of sight by utilising the parallelism and co-axiality of its optical to mechanical axis providing alignment axis of 0.05 mm over 30 metres. Parameters include alignment, parallelism, squareness, level/flatness and straightness for applications from alignment of propellor shaft bearings to aircraft frame alignment, features include; Mechanical to optical concentricity to less than 6 um Parallelism of optical line of sight to mechanical axis less than 3 arc secs Precision Cylindrical datum for simple fixturing Wide range of accessories to assist in alignment and measurement |
