Wireless Bore Gauge
The Wireless support Pack for Windows®, contains the following WHT specific files:
 Wireless Handtool Manager application for Windows PCs (Windows 7 onwards) This enables users to quickly get up and running and provides access to the full range of commands and provides data logging capability. The Wireless Handtool Manager’s .NET library is available for linking into user applications The associated .Net manual is included. The Handtool can also be controlled directly by a user application using a virtual Com port. The associated RS232 command list manual is included. The Configuration Manager application, which allows the WHT passcode to be activated. WHT Port Testing application & its C# source code are provided. This demonstrates a reliable way of Bluetooth port opening and closing.
Wireless Multichannel Gauge
The Wireless support Pack for Windows®, contains the following WHT-M specific files:
A Configuration Utility program which simplifies the configuration as well as retrieval of readings from the device. The source code for this utility program is also provided. The Software protocol manual for those that wish to write their own programs to communicate with the WHT-M. The WHT-M Maintenance Tool, which reconfigures the system for replacement probes. The Configuration Manager application, which allows the WHT-M passcode to be activated. WHT Port Testing application & its C# source code are provided. This demonstrates a reliable way of Bluetooth port opening and closing.
The Orbit®3 Support Pack also needs to be installed.
This includes the WHT-M Maintenance manual, which describes: How to carry out firmware upgrades using the Orbit3 Updater. Reconfiguring the system for replacement probes, using the included Maintenance Tool.
The support packs both require the Microsoft® .Net Framework 4.0 or newer to be installed on the PC.

Calibrated System Each Solartron probe or instrument is available with a digital module at the end of the cable. Inside the module is a chip that digitizes the analogue signal from the probe. The probe is calibrated and linearized at the Solartron factory, with a guaranteed accuracy of 0.05% of range or 0.2 microns, whichever is greater, 0.15 micron repeatability, and 0.01 micron resolution. You can then master the probe anywhere over its measurement range, and attain the same accuracy from that master point. Solartron also offers a variety of calibrated non-contact Laser sensors available. |
